All-Time-Favorite Sandwich

... in close competition with Bahn Mi at any rate.

In Davis Square, in Sommerville, MA, there is a sandwich shop called Blue Shirt Cafe. I haven't been there in years, but Blue Shirt Cafe used to specialize in making this amazing California Dreamin' sandwich.

To make a California Dreamin', BSC used:

• panini bread
• triangles of tofu (grilled, I think?)
• avocado
• roasted red peppers
• horseradish sauce
• Special irreplaceable BSC magick
  

 The best part of the California Dreamin was that BSC served it hot off the panini-pres, wrapped in aluminum foil, so it could double as an effective hand-defroster in the middle of the Dread Boston Winter.
