1 2/3 cups flour (sifted if possible)
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
(some people advocate also 1/2 tsp sugar)
1 cup yogurt
Beat the eggs with the yogurt, mix in the pre-mixed dry ingredients until it becomes soft dough.
preheat deep oil in a pan (enough to cover the mekitsa), oil your hand slightly, make balls from the dough and flatten them into thin circles (maybe with a hole in the middle) and drop them in th hot oil in the pan
serve with jam (plum), feta cheese, honey or confectioner sugar
